Symptoms of Ejaculatory Duct Obstruction

   With ejaculatory duct obstruction, there may be no symptoms, or there may be very dramatic symptoms.

   The patient may notice less semen, or less forceful expulsion of semen at ejaculation. Some men will notice no semen at all during ejaculation. Often men will feel pelvic pain or groin pain. Sometimes pain will be felt in the upper inner thigh. Patients may avoid thinking about sex to avoid an increase in pain, or may avoid having sex, to avoid an increase in pain.

   Ejaculatory duct obstruction may be confused with prostatitis or may be caused by prostatitis.
